Community floristry workshop – Autumn arrangements

Learn how to make a beautiful floral arrangement using all the colours of Autumn, with Joy from Flowerhaus.

No previous experience is necessary as you will be guided throughout this two hour session. The basic tools and equipment used in floristry will be discussed to give you a better understanding of what they are used for. There will be a demonstration in stages to allow you to make this beautiful design during the workshop and take it home with you.

You will need to provide all your own materials to include:

• a pair of scissors
• one block of oasis for fresh flowers
• a container or plant pot cover approx 6-8 inch diameter
• an Autumn coloured selection of fresh flowers, maybe include some branches, cones, fruit etc. to enhance your design (artificial or dried materials can be included)
• fresh greenery foliage must be included or cut some from the garden.

The photo shows an example of the shape of the arrangement you will make, the colours and contents will vary according to what you bring along.
