Holiday playscheme
We know that childcare needs don’t finish at the end of the school term
That’s why we welcome children from across the city into our year-round Holiday Playscheme, available during all school holidays for children aged 4 years and above.
We provide a range of enjoyable indoor & outdoor activities themed to suit the time of year and children’s varied interests.
Our children’s council help our experienced staff select activities and in the past we have welcomed furry friends from the local farm, gone on day trips across the region, invited Santa to our Christmas grotto and tried out art, cooking, design, sports, games and more.
Twice a year parents & carers are invited to see what the children have been up to as they perform in Lister’s Got Talent and our summer show.
Our Holiday Playscheme runs from Monday – Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm and offers flexible booking arrangements to suit the needs of all families.
All dietary, cultural and special needs can be catered for and each session includes healthy snacks for all children, plus a home-made two-course lunch for those attending all day.
