We’re working with Liverpool Adult Learning Service to offer online learning courses in April. Feedback from our community suggested that people were most interested in learning new languages and having a go at creative writing so we will be offering the following:

 

Spanish for Beginners: Wednesday from 10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm

Learn the basics to help you get started with speaking a new language. You will learn how to talk about personal information like family members and professions, how to tell the time, how to follow directions to a wide range of locations, book public transport and order food in a restaurant.

 

French for Beginners: TBC, weekday from 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Learn the basics to help you get started with speaking a new language. You will learn how to talk about personal information like family members and professions, how to tell the time, how to follow directions to a wide range of locations, book public transport and order food in a restaurant.

 

Creative Writing: TBC, weekday from 5.30pm -7.30pm

You will learn all aspects of the creative process such as dynamics, characters, settings and structures and learn how to create a variety of pieces such as stories, poems, plays and travel articles. This course is ideal for a beginner or whose who wish to write for pleasure.

 

Courses are free for anyone earning less than £18,600 or receiving any of the following support *Job Seekers Allowance, *Employment Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group Only) *Universal Credit, Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Working Tax Credit, ESA (Support Group)
