JOB SUMMARY

• To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting
• To always promote excellent practice.
• To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguards and promotes good outcomes for children.
• You will also oversee the implementation of EYFS within Lister Steps
• You will work with all Team Leaders to ensure EYFS is being delivered consistently to families.
• To foster the values of Lister Steps of Courage, Creativity, Respect, Commitment and Integrity in a child centred environment.

We are seeking a caring, creative, and reliable Nursery Chef to plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals for children aged [0–5 years]. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s growth, development, and healthy eating habits in a safe and welcoming early years environment.

Pop in for friendly zero-waste tips and ideas, free rescued food to take home and information about food support locally.

Part of our Community Connect programme – funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund – helping local people build skills, make connections, and reduce cost-of-living pressures.

Everyone welcome — no booking needed.

This is a hands-on session for anyone who enjoys greenery or wants to build confidence with indoor plants.

During the session you will:

Explore different types of houseplants and their care needs

Receive tailored guidance — bring a plant along if you’d like advice or TLC

Learn propagation methods to grow new plants at home

Pot up your own cuttings to take away

Explore outdoor space for inspiration and planting ideas

Free tea and coffee included.

This is such an exciting step for our community – bringing new opportunities, new activities, and a whole lot of energy into our beautiful, historic building. ADHD Support Services CIC are dedicated to creating supportive spaces where people can connect, recharge, and thrive – and now they’ll be doing it right here with us.

To celebrate, they’re kicking things off this month with a series of Yoga sessions designed for everyone:

🪑 Chair Yoga – gentle, accessible and welcoming for all abilities
🧘 Traditional Hatha Yoga – calming and restorative
🌙 Friday After-Work “De-Stress” Yoga – every Friday at 6pm, the perfect way to let go of the week and reset for the weekend
